I probably could've shaved another 1/2" off of the thickness, but overall I think it turned out pretty well. It really helps frame the sink, cleans up the tile line, and balances out the wall. As a bonus, we later realized that the shadow cast by the live edge, kind of looks like the state of Iowa. (full size)
