What program/s did you use? Are you putting them on DVD too?

i used iMovie for most of the raw dv data and Quicktime to capture my edits. the only things i'm putting on dvd are my old family videos to give to other family members.
i also ordered another 2tb hard drive to back everything up and throw into a fireproof safe.
that is a great idea for backup. I always have a hard time deciding on burning to DVD or storing on hard disk. I guess storage is cheap either way, but I haven't figured out what is best for preservation. I like the backup drive safe idea. thanks

totally.. hard drives will last far longer than the dyes in burnt DVDs. plus, a 2tb hd is only $120 now.
