Anyone else feel like the overall UX in iOS 10 is worse? I'm constantly mistapping and mis-swiping.

  • I don't think it's worse, but rather different. The swipe to wake is the biggest thing to un-learn, but I appreciate the efficiency of the new ui once my muscle memory is re-learned.

  • Every time I pull the quick settings sheet up from the bottom to adjust my brightness, I wind up swiping the whole sheet to the left or right instead of adjusting. The tap targets just feel smaller. The tap/long press/deep press/swipe interactions feel a bit less intuitive. I dunno.

  • I don't know if it is worse, but the direction is entirely different, which if you have a user base who are deeply invested in the tech, the change just doesn't mesh well.
