I had a similar but less expensive thing happen yesterday. I got David a really cool ceiling fan on clearance. It was supposed to be a metal gray color and look like a propeller. The electrician installed and I came up to find that it was bright orange-red. Haha. It actually looked kind of cool so I'm thinking about keeping it but it is not something I would have chosen.
