My crew has made the switch to Discord for everything now, which is... fine, I guess?
The really baffling part is that Hangouts tied directly in to Android messaging. For a while, I was the only one that had to use an extra app in order to communicate with that group.

It's confusing though. Apparently they're killing consumer Hangouts and rolling out their Enterprise Hangouts chat app to consumers. lol

Yeah. Hopefully they can actually make Messages the solution. I hope they can integrate Google voice with it.

I use WhatsApp and Facebook messenger for most of my group chats.
