I've had an iPhone for over 3 years now and I have never been excited about anything in my life LESS than that feature. Haha. I assume you aren't bragging that you've had it 8 years, but rather making a point. Still, not ALL iPhone owners are easily excited.

8 years ago i built a website that allowed people to buy wallpapers for their cell phones. i think i either had a skateboarder or christina aguilera as my nextel background, haha.

Isn't that everything with the iPhone? Like sms, copy+paste, multi-tasking, etc. etc. etc. Apple is awesome at marketing old ideas as new features.

well yea, but they did push the bar on everything else with the phone... and arguably, their multi-tasking is going to push the bar again.

It is possible to be an iPhone user and also understand the difference between old and new technology. I don't remember them ever marketing specifically for copy/paste and SMS but I'll take your word for it. Either way I didn't buy into that shit because we waited forever for those features. And, yes, multi-tasking rules. There are about a billion threads I could be having this conversation on. It's like arguing religion. Haha."My Driod is better!!" "No my iPhone is better!!"

It's one of those features that has no real value but Apple was so tired of forum/blog posts...."Did you see what we did with battery life and the new CPU? What? Oh, yes, we put the goddamn wallpapers in there too"

PS, i updated kari's ipod touch and couldn't figure out how to get the magic new wallpapers. if the ipods didn't get it, they are completely missing the younger market that will want this feature the most, haha.
