playStation2, GameCube, and X-box.... you know what I think? I think Microsoft can leave this market alone. Why do they need to take over something else? I mean sure, the graphics and things are incredible... but what happens if everyone buys the x-box? There won't be any more diversity or choice, you will have to buy microsoft games and have to play them on a microsoft system. This means all the classics will die.
I think that sony and nintendo should keep things going. Nintendo has been around since the beginning, NES, SuperNES, N64, and now GameCube. They are all excellent systems, and there are SO many classical games for these systems. Sony came into the picture a little late, but came out with some killer games. They have been battling it out for a long time and they're doing a good job at it! They're both making great games, and they're both competing really well.
Anyway, I feel that the x-box is going to kill gaming as it is supposed to be. I'm not buying it. What is your opinion?
yea im thinkin x box isnt gonna get too much support and its gonna die out fast just like dreamcast and personally i would stick with sony becuz of the way the PS2 plays older PS games and yea

I would love a microsoft x-box. I want the most bang for my buck so i would for sure go for the x-box. Also, x-box wont kill nintendo and sony...those are two companies that aren't just gonna lay down. They will come out with better systems, they are gonna push themselves to the limit. The more competition there is the harder these companies will have to work to please consumers...and that's the whole idea.

Msoft is in the same position Sony was 5 years ago. Back then Nintendo and SEGA were battling it out, and everyone told Sony, a HUGE electronic company mind you..., to stay out.
History tells the rest. PSX exploded onto the market, loved by gamers everywhere...

Microsoft should stay out of the gaming community. They have already monopolized the computer industry and screwed every other company over. Microsoft has way too many resources to advertise and may blow nintendo and sony out of the water. I was watching some show like spin city or friends (something like that) and they were fuckin advertising the X box on tv sitcoms. thats bullshit. and when nintendo and sony compete for the best games they get some cool shit out. but other than that do what you gotta do. peace.

God, the graphics are NICE. However, I already have a PS2, and can't afford another system.

I think that unfortunatly it is too late for the arguement about it not getting enough support, i had a look at official X-box mag and it has almost every game PS2 has so far and all the seag games are on their way to it like crazy taxi and space channel 5. i will still get me a PS2! HELL YEAH!
