Man, what a weekend. Friday, the Coffins had a couples shower for Kari and I - a "stock your bar" party. Everything was a ton of fun. We had martinis, hung out, boxed, played a game, etc. Thanks to everyone that was there, especially the Coffins... read more

I usually don't write about movies and stuff, but this caught me off guard and not too many people know about it so here it is... I was reading Modified Magazine yesterday, and apparently there's going to be a Fast and Furious 3. And apparently they have a bigger budget than the first 2... but they're trying not to pick any big actors for it. Which, pretty much shows that FnF is obviously more interested in cars than acting - as most of its viewers are... read more

  • Home Sick posted - 3 comments

This weekend was decent. I've been really sick which has been lame. Kari and I went to cedar rapids, painted a room, got a new fan, hung out with her family, etc. I also hung out with Ron Livingston's brother a bit, heh. Speaking of fame, Kari's dad met Frank Abagnale a few weeks ago, wtf... read more

  • Ultra Sloppy Barfy posted - 2 comments

Throughout High School lunch, my buddies and I always goofed around in an immature fashion (imagine that). It was usually Me, Jeremy Ludin, Jeff Ballard, Boone Ebel, Kyle Wells, Luke Gochanour, Andy Mead, etc. First of all, we always mixed everything that was left at the end of a meal into some concoction. Every day there was a new name for it too like, super stinky dumpy, ultra gross jomblination, mega nasty sloppy, barfy dumpy pukey, etc... but overall we called it "Ultra Sloppy Barfy" It ruled so much... read more

When I was in High School I was on the golf team. I spent many of my meets golfing with my buddies Jeremy Ludin and Josh Gooch. We've got tons of stories, but there is one in particular that I will never forget. Josh and I were golfing with 2 kids from another school in this tournament at Golfmohr. We got to #2 which is a par 4, dog leg left with a pond starting in front of the tee box and running along the entire left side... read more

Man, things have been crazy as usual. Last week Harper stopped by on his road trip to Colorado. We hung out a bit, Ninja got loose, and we rode the pocket bike, then he kept driving. The plan for the weekend was to shoot a music video for a hip hop group called Rebels Advocate. So, Friday after work, we caravaned 3 car loads of people to Maywood, which is a ghetto westside suburb of Chicago... read more

So, to finish out sunday... Kari and I checked out this brewery called Humperdinks - great place. The only thing that sucked was that their 2 best beers were seasonals, heh. After dinner we swam at the hotel. I saved 2 baby bunnies that decided to jump in with us... read more

Man, San Antonio was pretty nuts... not nuts like off the chain, but nuts like lots happened. Kari and I drove down Friday morning (my birthday) to get to our hotel and Bre'anna's wedding rehearsal. It was obviously incredibly boring, but definitely necessary. Weddings are such a production... read more

I sort of forgot to write about things going on. It's been so crazy hot that not much has happened. 2 weekends ago Zach and I tried to go soaping downtown, we hadn't gone in forever so we decided to give it a shot again. After about 10 minutes we were dying, so we just decided to walk around the city. We found some wicked sculptures... read more

A lot of you know that I've been building a shed in my back yard. It's my first building so I was a bit nervous... luckily I have mad building skillz, haha. So I downloaded the "Californian" plans from just-sheds.com and built a sweet shed. There's not much to say about it except that I definitely learned a lot... read more
