After months of physical therapy for an injured shoulder, I got back out on the golf course today. I had low expectations but planned to take it easy. 1st drive: 296 yards right down the middle. 2nd hole, birdie. 4th hole, birdie. Ended 4 over.
An unexpected round and a great start to the season.

This morning on our walk, my dog took a poop… so I went to grab a shit bag, but couldn’t find em.
I either dropped them along the way or forgot em at home. So I turned around to go get a bag when an old bitty neighbor of mine decided to scream at me for being an irresponsible dog owner.

I’m not very excited about the state of the world. The abuse, cruelty and corruption that we’ve allowed is just sad.
Watching good friends and family become uncertain of their futures, or scared to do things as simple as visit another country…

I let my home automation platform (NUC + Ubuntu + Home Assistant on Docker) slip on updates for a very long time. This morning, I decided to go scorched earth and rebuild it all with Proxmox and Home Assistant OS.
I have regrets. We’ve forgotten how to use a house that is not smart.
